We came for a night while travelling to Edinburgh, and wished to stay more. The village is beautiful. The hotel is warm and pleasant place with excellent breakfast. Recommended!

Fantastic 2 night stay. Kerry and all the staff made us feel very welcome. Went out of their way to make our weekend with our 3 legged Labrador special. Food was amazing especially the shin beef. We will definitely return.

We very much enjoyed the stay at this lovely country pub and hotel. The room was very comfortable and freshly decorated. Everyone enjoyed the food and the Shin of Beef was fantastic, compliments to the chef for that. Will definitely be back!

Just spent an amazing 2 days at Templehall for my partners birthday. We could not have been made more welcome and the dogs especially loved the attention from Kerry. Lovely place with brilliant staff where nothing was too much. We will definitely be booking back in again soon.

Had a family get together for meal last night the food & service was excellent, great atmosphere, fab evening had by all.

Awesome food, amazing staff, if you want a good feed & great experience get yourself down the Temple pub in Morebattle. It’s under new management and they are the best in the business.

I’ve lived in the Borders now for about 4 years and always traveled far and wide for a good Sunday lunch. Last Sunday I had the best so far at the temple and would definitely recommend.

Had a fabulous valentine meal with a glass of fizz on arrival. Very cozy, well looked after and food was delicious. Compliments to the chef and waiting staff. Definitely recommend.

Great pub, friendly atmosphere, always a fine pint of guest cask ale plus many other choices including great Guinness! Great food too, and live music starting to take off including a monthly jam session in the lounge on a Sunday afternoon open to all. Highly recommended.

Our local pub has been great all the time we’ve known it, and we have used it often for meals and functions. Under new ownership it is going from strength to strength. Couldn’t be more pleased. If you are in the area be sure to pay it a visit.

We popped in to the Templehall Hotel for a Sunday lunch with our three kids and it was fantastic!! There was a relaxed atmosphere, the menu was great and the food was outstanding!! An added bonus was that the kids two course meal was free of charge on a Sunday lunchtime!! We will definitely be back.

Well what can I say, what a fantastic night. Top class food, fantastic and friendly staff. Compliments to the chef. The beef was the best I’ve ever had. The band was brilliant and totally got the place rocking. The bed was comfortable and I loved all the extra touches in the room. I cannot wait to come along again to party. PS. Thanks for the birthday cocktail and cake. Michelle and Craig a big well done! xx
